Hi there,
We’re Leah and Kate Rooper, bloggers, vloggers, authors, and sisters from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Growing up beside the Pacific Ocean and inside a temperate rainforest fed our sense of adventure as children, and nourished a curiosity for strange and distant lands. We fed this curiosity with books…lots and lots of books. And after experiencing the magic of Middle Earth, we began creating our own worlds.
We began traveling at age sixteen and fourteen when we became international fashion models, working across Canada, the United States, Japan, and Italy. As amazing as the experiences were, modeling was not for us, so we returned to Victoria to pursue our other dreams: writing and traveling the world!
Leah is a twenty-four year old adventurer, currently pursuing her Bachelors of Illustration online. After a personal event that turned her life upside down, she decided to move across the world for a year and become an au pair in Sydney, Australia. Leah updates on traveling, working and living abroad, writing, and all things art related.
Kate is a twenty-three year old student, currently pursuing her Bachelors of Psychology. She spends all of her spare time writing, reading, fangirling over books and television shows, and trying to psychoanalyze her friends and family. Kate updates on surviving college life, relationship tips, personal improvement, and both the creative and business side of writing.
